I used to live in Texas, which is a two plate state. I didn’t have a front plate on either of my BMWs, but I would have put it on if I had gotten pulled over. In the 2 years I had the M3 there, I never got pulled over so it remained front plate free.

But it’s more fun to go in cars that weren’s specifically designed for that. I think it’s the camping version of “ its better to drive a slow car fast than a fast car slow”.
